Services we offer at our centre


Here at Plains Farm Community Centre we offer a wide range of services for the local community. Our IT suite offers fast broadband internet access. Hire a room for use by your own group or community for meetings and events. Achieve the qualification and skills you need. I.T Suite
computer room at plains farmWith support from City of Sunderland’s Strategic Initiative Budget, we have a state of the art Information Technology Suite. The room is equipped with 6 computers, with broadband internet access, along with printing facilities, scanner and digital camera.

The facilities are available for Open Access every morning from 8am until 1pm. Outside these hours the room is used to run a range of training and learning activities.

Use of the facilities are free.


Room Hire

The training rooms are available to hire as training or meeting rooms at very reasonable rates. We can provide refreshments and catering facilities at reasonable cost.

Childcare
Anyone currently taking part in courses or activities through the Community Initiative may be eligible for free Child care places.

Our childcare crèche places are provided by Premier Kindergarten, which is part of Plains Farm Primary School. Childcare is available for children aged 4 months to 5 years. For more information on accessing free childcare places, telephone the Community Initiative on 0191 5250007.
